I began Indie Art & Design as a personal project in late 2006. My partner and I had recently launched our own design label, Non-Fiction, and during this process, I discovered many wonderful independent Australian designers, and indie shopping boutiques + online stores. Many of these labels are difficult if not impossible to find through searching the web, & I wanted to collect together links to their sites and regularly feature selected products to promote Australian art, craft & design to an international readership. I love getting your emails & submissions - there must be so many treasures out there I'm yet to discover!
My partner & I run Delphinus Creative, a graphic design & web design studio based in Alexandria, Sydney. The administration side of running a small business has been a challenge at times, but I love the design work... especially since we've been able to translate some of our ideas into the Non-Fiction product range.
I love: camping & hiking, painting & drawing, nature photography, good coffee, my part-siamese grey tabby Flynn, my half corgi - half border collie Toby, & my shiny new MacBook Pro.
